Celebrate Life Church began Valentine’s Day of 2006 when Pastors Terry and Michelle Knighten separately each had a confirming word that God was leading them to plant a church in New Braunfels, Texas.  After seeking the counsel of their pastor, Greg Powe of Florida, they discussed the plan with a few local friends.  The first official step was to hold an open meeting at a local restaurant.  Anticipating a small handful of people, they were met with over one hundred people hungry for the Truth.

Finding a vacant church building nearby and desiring a permanent home, Celebrate Life Church boldly began negotiating with the property owners to rent the building.  Through favor and continued supernatural growth, Celebrate Life Church eventually purchased the property currently occupied on FM 725 near County Line Road in New Braunfels.

On March 7, 2010, Celebrate Life Church officially became Renew Church.

What began with a couple obeying the voice of the Lord quickly grew to a strong base of believers and continues to grow and change the spiritual climate of this area.  Pastor Terry brings a relevant message of God’s Agape Love, His Immeasurable Grace and our Righteousness in Him.  With a vision to impact the world by equipping believers, Renew Church is poised to transform New Braunfels, the Texas Hill Country, our nation, and the world.
